Joyously two birthdays!

We had such a good time just celebrating----being alive, together, having time.....I couldn't help but think of a year ago at this t ime.....so grateful.....yes, we were celebrating.

I know this is a little backwards. This entry should be before Christmas Eve but I did want to post it. I don't often have videos or something to enter for Matthew. This was a big night for him. He received MVP of the year plus MVP of the Thanksgiving Day Game and he really wanted to appreciate the coach who gave him the chance. Go Matt!!!!!!!!

Catch-up

Hi, Christmas Eve was so much fun. We were invited to Sara's mom, Dorinda's home. We celebrated Sara's birthday and Christmas together.

The laughter, good food, family, music and Christmas program brought back so many warm, happy Christmas memories for me of our family growing up. It was like basking in the sun for me.

This was going to be our first Christmas totally alone and I was okay with it...but being here for Christmas Eve took the edge off the transition. We really enjoyed every part of it. Family really is where it is at. I am so grateful, Matthew has a place to "hang" without his parents that love him.
